Modulation effect models and validation targets.

Modulation models should make time-varying control state explicit while preserving source/load behavior at their chain boundaries.

Current models:

  • Dartford: Vox/Jennings-inspired amp tremolo with rounded LFO motion, subtle band movement, and FX-loop placement.
  • Tron: Mu-Tron Phasor II-inspired optical-style six-stage phaser with smoothed lamp/LDR modulation, feedback, and wet/dry mix.
  • Jetstream: A/DA Flanger-inspired BBD-style flanger with short modulated delay, manual delay, feedback, and wet/dry mix.
  • Celeste: Boss CE-2-inspired BBD-style chorus with dual modulated delay voices, tone shaping, and wet/dry mix.
